South Island Severe Weather Warning

Updated at 10.00am 1st June 2021

Please be advised that there will be continued delays to all areas South of Christchurch.

The closure of the State Highway 1 bridge South of Ashburton overnight has now further disrupted South services and the road link South is blocked.

In the meantime, parcels from North Island to Southern Areas of the South Island are backing up in Christchurch and we envisage that this will not clear until early next week.
